As a 4-H Horse Project alumni, I was given a wonderful opportunity to learn all about ponies and horses when I was a child, and I have been infatuated ever since. Throughout the early years we shared our ponies with the local Sacramento Receiving Home, St. Jude Charity events, and Make-A-Wish fundraisers. I continued my education by being certified in Equine Massage Therapy and owning/training my own horses for 20+ years.  It is our families' pleasure to share our experience and love of horses with your child.

Customer Testimonials-

"Thank you so much!  The ponies were a huge success.  I have been telling everyone how much fun we had!"    -The Scholtz's

"I am a happy customer of Historical Ponies. My daughters party was magical, fun, age appropriate and truly a memory for life for our entire family. The face painting was beautiful and allowing the kids to work with the miniature pony, Mr. Ed was just fabulous! Thank you for your work and the work of your family to keep the event safe and fun. :) I also appreciated your flexibility - living in suburbia doesn't always make it easy to plan a party for pony rides!! You made it work!

If there was a down fall at all - Taylor didn't want you to leave...her love for horses has grown even
deeper!!"

Good Luck and great fortune with your business - Ansell Family ( Janeen, Robert, Royce & Taylor)

Hi Mary, Ginger, Big Ed and Family!

Thank you so much for coming out yesterday and making our dream come true! We had the most amazing time and loved every minute of it. Miriya was in shock yesterday at the wonder of it all. Each and every one of the children at the party had a great time, of course with Ginger and getting their own special pony ride. They loved Big Ed as well, but my son, Jace, the birthday boy, was especially crazy about him. Both of your horses were so gentle and sweet natured. I completely trusted them with my young children. The face painting was also great! I even loved getting a bee painted on my face. This is definitely something that we will never forget and may have to make a family tradition

I also wanted to thank you so much for being so considerate of our concerns regarding my daughter's Cystic Fibrosis. I really appreciate your mother-in-law talking to me about the face paints, showing me the new eye pencil she was using, and offering to wear a mask if it made me more comfortable. I also noticed that you guys used hand sanitizer and even cleaned the saddle grip (sorry, I don't know the correct term!) with Clorox wipes. These are things that a lot of people don't consider, and I noticed and appreciated your approach to germ control. To a parent of a child with CF, germs and the spread of them can strike such fear and stress in our hearts. It is especially hard to put Miriya out there with people we don't know. I just wanted to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for being so thoughtful. Your approach put both my husband and myself at ease and it was so appreciated.

We had a wonderful time.

Thank you,
Melissa, James, Miriya & Jace Oliver
